My new Favorite Place! We stayed in a free-standing (there appears to also be shared-wall lodgings) cabin with the interior comforts you would hope for. A TV, small fridge, microwave, coffeepot and iron. A fireplace that isn’t wood or gas burning but with rotating flame-look lights. The ambiance from the fireplace was really cozy. You don’t have to use the heater part of the fireplace if you only want the look of flames. The cabin has hewn log walls/countertops in the bathroom. A shower/tub combo. There is a rolling barn door to close off the bathroom doorway. Our cabin had 3 windows with blinds that blocked most of the outside light when closed. A wooden front porch that has a roof and 2 chairs on it. For summer heat there is an inground pool that looks super inviting. A bonfire pad with brickwork and chairs. Landscaping that someone took a tremendous amount of time and care to construct. The owners are very welcoming and attentive to their customers and property. We did walk to the lake from here in about 10 minutes, each way. There is a short but steep downhill/uphill but now you know. We look so forward to staying here again in all seasons…and the sooner the better! Julie&Craig

Lake Geneva Motel is a charming establishment with lots of vintage charm! I love how clean our rooms were and how pleasant the landscaping was. Also, the motel is near town and within walking distance if you feel like a stroll, grabbing a bite to eat or a bit of shopping. More importantly, the proprietors, were an extremely lovely couple and so accommodating of our large group. I highly recommend this place and wish you the same enjoyable experience! Another great long weekend at Lake Geneva Lodge. This was my 8 th year staying at the lodge. I can’t say enough the pool is fantastic very relaxing. The grounds are beautiful the rooms are clean and cozy the owners are so amazing and truly want you to enjoy your stay. This motel is a slice of heaven close enough to everything but not on top of everything very peaceful and quaint. As long as LGL is there it’s the only place I’ll stay! Stayed for three days while exploring the Lake Geneva area. Perfectly nice room, very close to the lake (maybe a five minute walk to the footpath that leads around the lake, and a ten minute walk to the public beach). The staff was very knowledgeable about nearby entertainments. The quality/price ratio would be very difficult to beat.

Highly recommend this place when visiting Lake Geneva. It is secluded and a short walk from downtown area with plenty of parking. Cabins are well put together and perfect for a weekend trip. The staff in particular is a highlight, excellent service. Will be back

I had an amazing stay here at Lake Geneva Lodge. The owners were kind and available at all times. My room was super cute and very clean. Got towels switched out every day throughout my stay without having to ask. Clean, heated pool and quiet area all around. Next time I come to Lake Geneva, I’ll be sure to stay here again.

Love it here! First time staying here and will be back! Owners were so nice! Helped with everything we needed and even gave us a gift bag at check in.

Update: came back again this summer and everything was as great as it was last summer! Awesome friendly accommodating owners, clean rooms, property well cared for and clean pool, this truly is a wonderful place to stay. Can’t wait till our next trip!

We visited this place as a family with an infant. We found the service here to be excellent. We are grateful that the owners went out of the way to accommodate our requests.

The owners were very courteous and also told us about interesting sights we can visit in the area.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes away from the lake. We will definitely come back here again.

We had a wonderful experience from reservation to checkout. We even received a welcome bag at check in, the small gesture simply shows their attentiveness to detail and providing a quality experience. Cabin feel but in the town. Walking distance to the lake. Fair pricing. A HUGE perk for us was that some of their rooms are pet friendly! My only feedback for management is to make those pet approved rooms clear on the booking page. Booking for our pets was a breeze when I called the hotel because I did not want to reserve the wrong room, and the reception was extremely helpful and friendly. I wish we had more time to spend time in the pool or walk across the street for mini golf. We will be back and are already sharing the recommendation with family!

They went over and beyond for us. We had 3 cabins, all were very clean, and had comfortable beds. Microwaves in all rooms, mini fridges (one cabin had a larger one), coffee pot and coffee! They also supplied firewood. The fire pit was really nice, as well as the heated pool.

As a family we always try to get away from the busy life style. When we stay here it gives us time to slow down and to relax. It is out of the way and the rooms are clean and neat. We take advantage of the fridge and microwave. Wal-mart is close by so we could pick up food to store in the room. We also used the barbeque pits that the motel had to offer and also enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool. Every one that was staying there was very friendly and made you feel that you where seeing family. The motel is close to downtown Lake Geneva so we are walking distance. I always try to make a point to stay here a couple times a year during the year. The couple that runs this place always remembers us whenever I make reservations to stay here.

This is the second time staying here and I absolutely love it. I get the queen size cabin since it’s just me, it’s the perfect size for one or two people looking for a getaway that is close enough to downtown to walk anywhere and just a few blocks from the lake path. We found the old fashioned Lake Geneva Motel clean and comfortable. It is an easy walk to the lake and downtown. Our unit was set back from the road in a lovely setting, with flowers, a porch with chairs, and a view of their pool.

“Location location location” at reasonable rates! This is a Wisconsin-lodge style experience located in a really great neighborhood within extremely easy walking or driving distance of Lake Geneva. It was so different from what I expected–definitely unique!

Very friendly and responsive owners. They have given real attention and detail to recent renovations. Brand new and beautiful wooden flooring and walls, fireplaces, updated bathrooms, and more in a super clean environment. Lots of on-site activities including swimming pool and picnic area.

Ideal for couples, families, or individuals staying in Lake Geneva!

Excellent little motel. It’s not a deluxe hotel by any stretch of the imagination. But it provides the basic needs as a motel should. The entire place is clean and well maintained. Clean room. Comfy bed. Picnic tables and charcoal grills on the lawn. Small pool. Ice and vending machines. Food and alcohol within a half mile. Everything you need.

The owners are amazing, we added another person to our room, let them know ahead of time and they were most accommodating. The grounds are very pretty, clean, the pool is sparking, the seating and fire pit very welcoming. And, if you have a dog, they do have rooms that they are allowed in! Just off the main drag, but walking distance to all the shopping and restaurants. This is our new go to place when we visit LG!

I stayed here years ago and there has been a definite improvement to the landscaping…lots of flowers, gladiolas by the cute small pool I swam in, lilacs, azaleas, metal sculptures, etc. The owner was very friendly and even gave me an unexpected goody bag when I arrived.

What a surprise gem!
The owners were friendly and eager to make our stay enjoyable.Even the cleaning staff was very friendly.
Room 105 was very spacious,very comfortable and decorated in a lake lodge theme.I believe it had been recently remodeled.
Our room had an electric fireplace . There’s a deep jacuzzi tub in the bathroom.
The out door grounds were very nice,decorated with flowers and a few whimsical sculptures.The pool is not large but big enough and clean.
I hope to stay here again some day.
